There is a set of Fred brewer heads and Tunnel ram to match for high deck. VERY RARE!! I got these in a deal on a lot of other mopar parts I bought. the person I got them off of was running these on a 500 cu in motor so I know they are good I took them apart and had a new valve job done didn't need it but just wanted to check them. they got 2.300 intake valves and 1.800 exhaust valves and will fit stock bore blocks. they come with roller valve springs and titanium retainers and spring pressure is set at 275 lbs. at 2.200 installed height. the person I got them off of had send them to muscle motors and had them c and c ported he said muscle motors said they flowed right at 470 on the intake not sure on the exhaust he said it cost him 1100 for the c and c porting. he was running harlem sharp 440-1 rockers on them did not get them in on the deal but I am throwing in a set of indy 440-1 rockers, shafts, and hold downs with the heads they are 1.5 and the ones he was running where 1.6. the tunnel ram is NICE I talked with fred brewer himself and he told me he sold the tunnel ram for 2000.00 by its self and when he was selling the heads they where about 8000.00 with valves and single 4 intake. the cusbustion chamber cc at 55 cc so you would need a flat top piston that was what he was running. these are big flowing heads and I feel you need bigger cu. in motor to run them on but that is your decision. feel free to call me and I will give you all the info I know..will be shipping UPS cost about 130.00 in the U

Now your next question is.What will they flow on my bench? The answer is that we don't know. That is why we supply these before and after charts and again, all flow benches do not flow the same! Benches can show a difference of about 3to 5%.5% at 300CFM is a difference of 15CFM. We have seen benches off 6 to 8%.8% at 300CFM is 24CFM. An extra 24CFM will really help a guy sell heads! How does this make you feel? I know, you feel cheated, so do we, but this is what we have to deal with in this business. So how do you go about determining a good port? After 30 years of flowing heads the industry still does not have a good answer to this. Here are some indicators to help.1.
Know this for sure. If most legitimate shops are getting 350CFM airflow out of a certain head and someone suddenly starts advertising 390CFM. That is just what it is, advertising (or a mis-used flow bench)2. Clue to a good port. The flow should rise very quickly. For example: Lets take a head that flows a maximum of 300CFM. The lower the lift at which that number is reached, the better the port design. If maximum flow is reached at.500' lift the head will produce a better power curve than if the valve must be opened to.700' lift or more to get the flow.
A head that flows good quickly is what we call our 'Fat Flow' ports.3. If the flow continues to increase a lot above your maximum lift the port volume is too big and the port is poorly designed and will therefore have a lower velocity and poor power output.4. The port with the most flow quickly reached is the best designed port. The port volume is very dependent on the application, displacement, cam etc. As the displacement and RPM rise, the port volume will need, generally, to increase as well. As a point of interest. It is almost impossible to make a port to big on a Mopar wedge engine.5.
The flow numbers above about 96% of your net lift do a lot more for your ego than they do for your power curve. But, they look good in ads.6. Flow numbers by themselves are a poor way to judge a head. Important power producing features like velocity and wet flow cannot be seen in flow numbers.
Our SAENZ flowbench will show average airflow over a specific lift range similar to the average horsepower and torque shown on an engine dyno test sheet. After looking at flow averages within the lift of the cam that will be used, it becomes apparant that this can be a very handy tool for choosing cylinder heads. Going a step further, if you look at the average flow from about.150' lift to.050' less than max lift. this is the most important lift areas related to power production.
This average flow versus the original average at the same lift area gives a very graphic answer to how the porting will actually benefit your engine. So, expect to see average flow results along with the standard flow numbers.7. Keep in mind that we are constantly working on head development and these numbers can change. We spend part of every week doing R&D on head porting and design all year long. Cross-sectional Area: The cross-sectional area has to do with how much the port shape and size changes from the gasket surface to the short turn in the intake port (for the most part). You want as little change in cross-section as possible.
Velocity 2X is a shoot 'em up video game developed and published by FuturLab for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The developers signed with Sony to create titles for the Vita in 2012, as a result of success of the first game. Velocity 2x define.
When the port walls diviate from a straight path due to pushrod, head bolt etc. Location, this effects the flow and fuel atomization in a negative way. You can't tell this with flow numbers but an eyeball check comparing several differant ports will give you a good idea of what to look for. C.N.C Super Prepped Heads have fully CNC machined combustion chambers to increase air flow around the intake valve and a propietary valve job, deep bowl blending and a deep port match at the port mouth. These modifications will increase airflow up to.500'.550' lift. To gain flow above that point, the entire port will need to be reworked (which will in turn help the low and mid-lift flow number too.
Note the flow on our fully CNC ported heads). Some heads do not respond to our C.N.C. Machined chambers so we do not offer them. Examples of this are the 84 & 88cc chamber big block Edelbrock heads. CNC Ported Heads.
These heads are fully CNC ported and have our priority racing valve job. In some cases, we may offer 2 different CNC ported versions such as our Stage 3 ported LA or magnum Edelbrock heads, and the BigMouth heads with pushrods moved over to widen the port at the pushrod restriction and increase the port volume. Both of these modifications will allow these heads to produce even more power and torque. In cases like this, one is a special such as the offset pushrod large port version, and the other is a fully CNC'd head without the offset pushrod. The one with the offset pushrod will make more power.
