Considering his skills with explosives and heavy machinery - and with his two fists, as well - this is a significant amount of potential damage. The hero can run, climb, and make use of many different kinds of vehicles he finds.

He is free to explore the 1930s City of Lights as the player wishes, and progress at his own pace down the paths he chooses, but contact with British intelligence operatives and members of the local underground resistance movement provides information that leads to more structured operations. As he works toward his ultimate goal of vengeance against the high-ranking Nazi officer who ruined his life, Sean embarks on missions of sabotage, sniping, and assassination, using his mechanical skills, stealth, and street smarts. Each job presents unique goals and challenges, but in nearly all missions, the key is to remain unnoticed, using the element of surprise to take out an important Nazi officer or unleash massive damage on tanks and heavy artillery, and then slipping back into the shadows to fight again another day. The game represents Sean's subversive successes in a more indirect manner, as well, with its 'Will to Fight' system.

As the hero deals blow after blow to the occupying German forces, the repressed people of Paris are encouraged toward their own insurgency, and the streets and neighborhoods that Sean has freed from overbearing Nazi presence begin to take on a more colorful, positive appearance in the game, emboldening new allies and opening up more missions. Saboteur borrows plenty of great elements from other! On paper, The Saboteur is a winner. The plot is intriguing and the conversation is snappy.

And if you tire of following the particulars of 'La Resistance' there are always some nicely rendered nude women to ogle. But boil it down to the gameplay and you're left with a good chunk of clumsy third-person shooting with bits of awkward driving. The Saboteur borrows plenty of great elements from other games, but doesn't execute on them as successfully. That's not to say there isn't fun to be had because there's plenty. It just isn't as well constructed as many other similar games on the store shelf.8.0 PresentationThe ideas that drive The Saboteur are great.

Paris during WWII is both beautiful and dangerous and the main storyline will rope you in.7.0 GraphicsThe mostly black and white sec tions produce the best visuals. Other areas can look bland and some animations border on silly.8.5 SoundThe soundtrack is downright sexy and the voicework makes the mediocre dialogue worth listening to.7.5 GameplayFrom the brawling to shooting to driving the core gameplay is functional but unpolished. Luckily there's still plenty of fun in blowing up Nazis.8.5 Lasting AppealThere's a whole lot to do in Paris aside from the fulfilling story. Whether or not you enjoy completing it all is another question.7.5Good OVERALLReviewed by IGN.comgame is available for sale on my eBay Store at a good price:http://stores.ebay.com/Mariio128-Gamemate.

Overall very good. 4.5 stars.Fans of assassins creed and grand theft auto will have a blast.

Personally i belIve the climbing interface is a little clunky, but still easily usable. The storyline is very good. Srb2 chaos domain. And Sean's character is a lot of fun to play. If i play this game for a few hours me and my friends will walk around using a irish accent for the rest of the day. Im not the kind of gamer who plays through games as fast as possible.

I have a tendancy to play a game for months just to get a good feel for it. It definatly deserves another instalment. Perhaps with developers playing a bit more AC: Rev. And a little less GTA.

»Deja BoomSkylar is waiting for you in the northeast. When you land, grab the Tommy gun, the ammo, and then get in the flatbed nearby. Drive and just swerve around everything you can until you smash through the gate. When you get to the building head in through the door. There's a lone soldier you need to kill quickly. Down the hall the real firefight begins.

This is a lot like the last time you fought here, but now the enemies are more powerful and you'll need to rely heavily on the Tommy gun as well as on the ample cover around. The narrow hallway parts aren't too bad. At doorways and other choke points, use grenades to make a big impression. Maria is just down the hall. After the cut scene, make your way to Kessler's holding area. Throw a grenade at the three guards to do them in quickly. Once he's out, follow him to the corner of the room.

You have to play defense for a minute here, but it's easy since you have a nice little corner to fall back into when you need to heal, and a crate full of grenades to use.Go back to the control room and flip the switch on Kessler's signal. Now you have to destroy the Cyclotron. The first coil is in the corner, and you can just shoot it out.

Same for the second. When the Cyclotron powers up, you can lob some grenades at it and fire away if you have ammo to waste. Otherwise, fight your way down to the middle and plant dynamite. Now you have to defend Kessler as you make your exit. Not every enemy is critical in this case. The ones with red markers over their heads are the ones bothering Kessler, and should be considered priority targets.

On the far side of the room, there's a good point to defend with three large crates, the middle of which is a bit smaller so you can fire safely from behind cover. Once this fight is done you can make it outside easily.
